Connecting with Our Community.

Residents from Avalon recently took part in a refreshing RNLI charity walk, highlighting the importance of joining in with the wider community. The event provided a valuable opportunity for residents and staff to come together, engage with others, and support a meaningful local cause.

Taking part in the walk encouraged social inclusion, teamwork and a sense of belonging, while also allowing everyone to enjoy the outdoors and connect with nature. Being involved in community events like this helps build confidence, independence and positive relationships beyond the care setting.

A special highlight of the day was an unexpected and exciting moment when residents were lucky enough to spot a bear during the walk, making the experience truly memorable!
