Come Dine With Me Competition – Building Planning and Organisational Skills

The recent Come Dine With Me event at Avalon was a fantastic success, offering residents the opportunity to develop and showcase important planning and organisational skills in a fun and engaging way. With the incredible support of our dedicated staff, residents were involved in planning menus, organising ingredients, managing time, and working towards daily themes.

Each day featured a different theme, encouraging residents to think ahead, structure their ideas, and coordinate tasks effectively. From traditional favourites to creative culinary dishes, the competition highlighted not only culinary talent but also teamwork, responsibility, and problem-solving.

The atmosphere was vibrant and full of energy, reflecting strong collaboration between residents and staff. After much anticipation, a winner received the star prize, but in truth, everyone was a winner for their effort, organisation, and enthusiasm, and all received well-deserved recognition.
