Support Worker

SUPPORT WORKER – HOLLAND HOUSE, DENBIGH, LL16 3LG

We are looking for Support Workers to join our existing friendly team immediately!

Full-time- 42 hours per week
£13.45- £14.03 per hour (dependent on experience)

As a Support Worker you will:

Support individuals with learning disabilities and mental health conditions to lead a good quality of life whilst achieving positive outcomes along the way (however, this is not essential as training will be provided).
Assist individuals to learn new skills.
Understand medication procedures.
Understand safeguarding policies and procedures.
Work as part of a team of dedicated, qualified and capable staff team who put the people living here at the heart of what we do.

Holland House and Holland Villas

A residential service based in the historic town of Denbigh, Holland House and Holland Villas are an 11 bedded home that offers independent living for young adults aged 18 + with a primary Mental Health diagnosis (functional). The home offers intensive support using active support, person centred planning (PCP) and positive behavioural support (PBS) methods.

About Holland House & Villas

Holland House is made up of an 8-bed and neighbouring 3-bed property which form a residential home, for men aged 18 and over with learning disability and/or mental health conditions, or those who have autism.

The main house accommodates up to eight residents, while Holland House Villas offers a more independent setting for three individuals. We provide a step-down service for those transitioning from hospital or other care settings. Our dedicated staff team works in close partnership with each resident, offering personalised 1:1 guidance and support.

The focus is on promoting independence, wellbeing, and a significantly improved quality of life for individuals who need just a little extra help before transitioning to more independent living.
